The Sweetwater Education Association was established to

• Build a strong community of concerned professionals
• Provide teachers with opportunities for high quality professional development
• Advocate at all levels for a comprehensive participation in the governance of the Sweetwater Union District
• Support projects that communicate the promise of education to students and improve their understanding of the opportunities it provides them
